If people cannot afford homes, they cannot move out.
It’s simple as that.
It’s not surprising at all . Have you seen the costs of renting or buying ? I personally rent with my wife and 1 kid . We both now that we will never be able to buy. We have friends who got married and the only solution for them was a non legal addition to he’s parents house.
A Cypriot I know looked at the rent and moved to his mother’s place, because he was able to rent his place for 2.5k/mo, and for him it is worth ‘living in mother’s house’.
