Mccarthy has reach, I know a few people personally who follow him. To think that he is now perceived as a political figure is crazy, he’s just a loner who browses the internet, an Incel surely. Like their can be reasonable arguments made for managing immigration, but these guys are just going straight to “send them back”, blah blah, they just react to anything within politics, you’ll never see them actually acting on anything.
My instagram explore page has been infested with far right accounts after Charlie Kirk’s death and he’s one of them. He’s an annoying prick and his comments are filled with people not from Ireland “praying for our country”.
