The governments fight against NIMBYs is their best trait and isn’t nearly applauded enough.
Literally critical national infrastructure.
People are idiots and councils especially so and will object to absolutely anything.
Put some hedging around it and they’ll never know it’s there.
Disagreement over many things including bats.
We must have paid out a hundred million for every bloody bat in the country for disruption to construction projects.
