I don’t think this is true. I asked my 9 brothers and sisters and they all agreed with me.

And as everyone knows – once you cross from south to north of Ireland your sperm quality automatically goes down.

What’s with the Romanians? All weak stuff around them, must be the Latin blood :).

The secret is immigration. Western diet isn’t exactly good for sperm quality.

Everyone always gives out about the amount of red meat Irish people eat. Here you are tho, top notch lads

It’s very handy that it seems to tally quite well with geopolitical sentiment in western Europe and the U.S.

I’m going to guess that China, Iran and North Korea will have poor ratings too.

Interesting that crossing the Northern border affects sperm quality

This same colour map seems to be getting used in that sub for a myriad of claims. I think it’s a meme at this point.

Not to bust anyone’s balls, but as someone who works and does research in male fertility, I just want to share a few things while we’re on the topic:

      Don’t take steroids

Stop smoking, vaping, or doing drugs

      Go easy on saunas

Heated car seats aren’t helping your swimmers

Being overweight and being underweight can both impair sperm health

Don’t take your fertility for granted

      Get regular health check-ups

Also, sperm “strength” doesn’t necessarily reflect DNA integrity. DNA fragmentation in sperm is crucial for creating embryos that lead to sustainable pregnancies.

Too often, men think, “She got pregnant and miscarried, can’t be my fault.”
Brother, you are 50% of the source material. Take care of yourself, and remember, it’s no one’s fault.

Male factor infertility accounts for nearly half of couples who need help conceiving. It’s time we talked about it more openly, and luckily Ireland now has publicly funded fertility services. If you are struggling with infertility there are resources and it’s A LOT more common than you think.
