      Fucking hell, I live near Huntingdon and take this train regularly, have had trouble where its been stopped due to a fight before but nothing like this

      The reports I’m seeing on X from various journalists and reporters are of at least 10 people stabbed, and at least one person in a critical condition. The number seems to be quite consistent among them

      This news is terrible, multiple people stabbed on a train, at least 30 armed police in attendance. It feels all too familiar with the terrorist attacks we’ve experienced in the past decades.

      My thoughts are with the victims and their families.

      Every day I feel myself getting more and more radicalised in favour of authoritarianism…

      I know I shouldn’t, I know it leads to bad outcomes in all kinds of ways, and yet I still feel the allure of it…

      >Armed officers attended the scene and two men were arrested following 999 calls at 19.39 GMT.

      >More than 30 officers were sent to the scene. No details about how many people have been stabbed have been released, or how serious the injuries are.

      So maybe we should wait for an actual police statement…
