      many people have Balkan ancestors so there is some connection. Most people liked or neutral against Pakistan until some men took videos of Turkish woman. There is no hate and I am like Pakistan but people hard to understand why Pakistanis love Turks so much.

      Not true. There are different people that love and hate all these nations. Pakistan and Turkey has good relations in general. One thing I can tell is people don’t like bonding over common religious beliefs since religious people in politics are really problematic in Turkey.

      No. Unfortunately these days we are faces too many negative news about Pakistan. But what Pakistani people did in the past won’t be forgetten.

      Highly depends on who you ask but in general Turkish people think Pakistan as an uncivilized third world country and Balkan countries as relatively developed and civilized countries, even if they appreciate the friendship between Turkey and Pakistan or if they despise Balkaners

      For honest, as Turks we don’t bother to get friend with a Pakistani, because even we are both Muslim, we don’t share same values. Turkey is a Muslim country but it also belongs to Europe in life of style and family values. We don’t act our women as if they are second degree citizens as well.

      Hold up , why would Pakistan even like us. Pakistan is closer tied with iran and other islamic states like indonesia. Turkey is secular and has nothing to do with an islamic state. Our military and economic might has been a result of policies making us lean to the west. The moment erdogan drops out we will loose alot of sympathy by those states and face new enemies. Turks can sadly only trust turks :/

      Not true at all. Even though there’s an overall disdain of Islamism in the younger population there’s nothing specifically against Pakistani people, at all. On the contrary, most people consider Pakistan as one of the nations closest to us.

      What might cause a less than positive attitude is potentially overt religiosity. Apart from that Pakistanis are generally warmly welcomed in Turkey.
