I could pretend to know what on earth they’re on about, but I won’t. It’s beyond me I’m afraid!
Great for the country. It also highlights the importance of Maths, and how we should be focusing more on education and training more Maths teachers.
I enjoy maths and may want to become a quant (although I know little more about the field than what you can find with a little searching on the internet), this seems like good news. Especially compared to tech, where the gap between the UK (and the rest of Europe) with the US is massive, for quants opportunities seem a bit more even.
Traders might be raking in revenue. But are they raking in profit?
