Well, yeah. Why would Russia be a threat to Germany? Russia has no interest in invading Germany, while they have interest in invading Ukraine Poland and Baltic countries.

    3. Last time I was that surprised was when water turned out to be wet. AfD downplaying russian sponsors and being revisionist towards Poland? Not new at all.

And those are allies of Konfederacja. I wonder what do they have in common that makes them allies despite AfD being anti-polish and Konfederacja playing nationalist tunes.. oh how hard it is to figure out 😛

    4. They are big fans of Putins Russia and basically repeat all their propaganda nonsense. If you get criticized by AfD and their affiliates – you are doing something right. So see this as a big compliment.

    6. He’s writing all this because he can’t bring himself to say “I’m a son of a bitch”.

German here. Fuck this guy. He is a far right extremist.

    8. Had he reminded the party isn’t financed by any source affiliated with Russia? Feels like it would be an important remark.

This guy is crazy and irrelevant, he even sided against Trump because Trump tried to start peace negotiations instead of siding with Putin against Ukraine.

the afd are a bunch of lunatics that throw shit on the wall until something sticks

it’s sad to see it seems to work on ~30% of germans

only good news is that it doesn’t on the other 70%

This is Molotov-Ribbentrop all over again. Don’t these freaks have a single original idea? Let me guess, next step will be getting Slovakia on Board. With our current government that won’t be too much trouble.

That’s it, I’m writing a gay smut novel about the forbidden love between a Konfederacja and an AfD politician in which they meet while taking bribes from a russian.

Jürgen Elsässer? You mean the known right wing anti semite and friend of russia?
The one you can legally call a nazi without getting into trouble for slandering because its objectively true?

Polish pro-russian party Konfederacja claims Ukraine is bigger threat to Poland than Russia.

German AfD member here: This guy is just one guy with an opinion that noone is taking seriously.

Keep calm Poland. We look over to your country and see it as a role model. There is absolutely no hatred. You are our friends.

    20. AkodoRyu on

How can you see it, and not be like “oh, that’s a Russian troll” immediately? Even excluding any political affiliation, you just have to ask the simple question: who benefits in the hypothetical case of Poland being taken over in a war?

Germany would lose a buffer zone and would have to risk fighting on their own territory, which is the worst idea. Russia would gain a way more significant foothold in the center of Europe, opening the highway to the Baltic Sea, and multiple other EU countries. With that foothold, they would also gain a much stronger position in any negotiations, because suddenly they are not “out there”, they are “right around the corner”.

Poland loses, Germany loses, EU loses. The only one who gains from this take is Russia… and to think some people are actually buying into it.

That’s a compliment to be fair. He says that Poland is stronger than Russia
