When he was originally considering transferring the Tomahawks, it looked like Ukraine was on the verge of winning with all the oil refinery attacks, and he wants to be on the winning side of history.
So once it looks like Russia is about to collapse is when they’ll be transferred. Maybe they’ll arrive during the victory parade with him photo bombing celebrations and speeches.
Ukraine would be well served to operate under the assumption that the Trump administration will not act in their countries best interests at the end of the day. Everything Trump says is simply performative and will not be followed up with any meaningful action. I don’t know why the world, and US citizens for that matter, must keep learning this lesson over and over again, almost on a daily basis. Unless of course you’re an immigrant, searching for a better life. I can guarantee you’ll get the shit beat out of you for the cameras.
