“**So that the war wouldn’t be taken lightly — and so that descendants, relatives, and loved ones could see their people during and after combat missions**,” said Kostiantyn “Kostia” Huzenko, explaining why he documented soldiers’ lives through his photography while serving as a staff sergeant with the press service of the 35th Separate Marine Brigade.

The Ukraїner community has suffered a great loss.

On 1 November, during a Russian attack in the east of Ukraine, Kostiantyn — photographer and staff sergeant in the communications unit of the 35th Separate Marine Brigade — was killed in action.

We express our deepest condolences to everyone who knew Kostiantyn.

Looks like a gentle person. He must be a big loss to his surroundings. Rest In Peace, lad.
