This seems a little tone deaf.
Never mind the US firms, imagine how the people who actually live here feel?
Companies that go out of their way to minimize their tax liabilities are worried that the state is not spending enough on infrastructure that will help their bottom lines.
These companies don’t care less if their employees are housed, their biggest concern is that it’s becoming more difficult to attract new talent without offering more remuneration.
Have we considered how our lack of foresight and investment is affecting the most power and influential amongst us?
Food for thought.
Sadly it’s probably the best way to get the ball actually rolling.
Can we scrounge the price of a few lobbyists between us?
Can’t wait for that horrible country to completely collapse, hopefully every country ditches them when it does
