An envoy? What like we’re a foreign country? Do we need to send ambassadors to the south now?
It’s wild they’re actually using the term “envoy” like he’s going on some far off land on a mission.
Such a southern and patronising approach akin to the northern powerhouse waffle.
I don’t hate the concept of it clearly the North needs some investment and one person to oversee these things makes perfect sense but an “envoy” is stupid.
Remember when we were told the forensic grown ups were in the room and it would all be competence from here on in?
This looks to be basically a good idea that they have again managed to fuck up.
I have zero political or media experience but I think they should give me, or indeed any of you McSweenys job because we couldn’t be any worse at it.
