Honest question, are we just a loud minority and everyone else agrees with this legislation or are we being ignored by the politicians that push these policies?
The Stasi would have been thrilled back in the day if methods like this would have been available.
People believe quite literally anything if you call yourself a journalist and use lots of emojis.
So instead of scanning everyone at once, they want a backdoor to scan individuals under a “low to moderate risk chart”. This is way too ambiguous and they can literally scan whoever they wish under false pretences.
They first retracted it and now they push it again? Wtf

We should start to publicly shame the people in power that are pushing this!
We need chat control for politics for a free democracy , before we need this , more important to be the frontline of democracy then to become the opposite of it like Russia !
I’m american, shit is fucked here, but this makes our disaster look like child’s play. How is this even a thing in the last remaining beacon of democracy and transparency?
Can we label attacks on the peoples freedom as the literal attacks they are and criminalize even suggesting this in an official manner? We keep getting attacked and the law doesn’t care.
