Phone usage, and a complete lack of any enforcement of the RTA by the Gardaí.

Stupid cunts driving cars that they have no ability to understand how to drive

Phones, being stupid, phones and phones.

Coming up the Naas road this morning at Bluebell and an Actavo van swinging all over the place while driving so slow. Got level with him….on his phone. Sick of it.

People are just completely and utterly addicted to their phones. It’s not rocket science. I mean how are you supposed to give your full attention to your phone when driving is getting in the way.

    6. The mad thing about the stretch of road where these accidents are taking place is the same stretch of road that had to be diverted to miss the fairy tree.

I used to commute on that road and a variable speed limit won’t solve it.

The issue is the quality of driving. There’s a complete lack of people with the ability to maintain a constant speed and everyone travels within 10 feet of the car in front.

People are given a licence having never driven on a motorway or properly taught how to do it and that creates a lot of nervous motorway drivers. It’s an education problem, simple as that

Phones are definitely a big cause but the most common issue I see on motorways is chronic tailgating.
