Things I didn’t expect on my trip to the Vatican:
– Seagulls in the middle of the city
– The amount of Seagulls
– Seagulls pulling out all the trash from the bins at night and eating it like winged Raccoons
He is the guy. The seagull that barfed a rat on live TV to feed its chick, in front of the white smoke that announced the election of Pope Leo.
This is the essence of Rome, holiness with a big mix of decay and chaos.
They’re everywhere in Rome. At some point I’ve managed myself to do a challenge of taking as many pictures of seagulls as I can spot. It was somewhat entertaining
