Il dittatore serbo Aleksandar Vučić ha mobilitato migliaia di suoi lealisti per molestare la madre in lutto in sciopero della fame in cerca di giustizia
Today, Serbia’s authoritarian leader Aleksandar Vučić has mobilized thousands of paid loyalists, bused in from across the country to Belgrade, in a chilling show of power.
The move comes in response to the hunger strike of a grieving mother, Dijana Hrka, who lost her son in a tragic canopy collapse in Novi Sad last year, which happened as a result of severe government corruption.
For three days, she has been on the hunger strike, in front of the National Assembly, demanding justice — while Vučić’s supporters have been gathering next to her, mocking and insulting her to her face, and blasting taunting, suggestive songs through loudspeakers, also during the moment of silence for those who lost their lives. These provocations are aimed directly at her, during which loyalists can be seen singing and dancing.
For the context, one of those songs lyrics go something like:
“…the mother has gone to search for her son.
She went to search for her son…”
Also present is a significant number of police units in riot gear, who have cordoned off the area occupied by government loyalists, effectively separating them from the location where the mother, Dijana, is currently situated.
She is not alone, as yesterday she appealed to the people of Serbia for support, and in response, many more thousands of citizens and students from across the country self-organized to join her in this difficult moment. A small portion of that crowd can be seen in the upper part of the image, outside the marked area.

Police is preventing people to get to our side by blocking the streets,
while they are driving with buses their paid supporters.

The whole area that you can see, filled with white tents is a Vučić-organized paramilitary camp named “Ćacilend”. And we call Vučić the president of Ćacilend because, well, he is exactly that. That area, has been filled with actual small and big-time criminals and policemen for the last 6+ months, completely cutting off all traffic – and that street was exceptionally high traffic area.
The Ćacilend is literally his last line of physical defense, spanning on maybe several acres of street lanes and park in the city center, because he is literally scared shirtless of protesters invading his residence/and or National Assembly, but mainly his residence, because he’s a fucking selfish narcissistic coward who would throw his own parents in front of the crowd if it meant saving himself
