      Are we saying that 1500 people in hospital have tested positive for covid? That is not the same as ‘hospitalised with’…

      The comments here are so weird. Like it or not its more than just a flu for a lot of people and its still rampant and worth tracking.

      Happy to see ICU numbers aren’t up, would be interested to see long covid diagnosis by week/variant alongside these data points.

      Basically, particularly if you’re vulnerable – age, illness, lung problems etc get the two vaccines – they’re both safe and widely available.

      I’d an older but incredibly active and vibrant relative killed by the flu a few years ago. Those two viruses can be nasty, especially for older ppl.

      It makes me super uncomfortable how many people aren’t up to date on the Covid booster regimen. We had all the protocols in place to keep antivaxxers from participating in society yet we threw the whole thing out the window

      I was a non believer into the seriousness of Covid, got it a little over a month ago & my lungs are still a little congested in the mornings & evenings. Wasn’t pleasant.

      Let’s destroy the economy and print billions of Euros and create a massive transfer of wealth to the rich and cause rampant inflation

      Also, let’s ruin the education and socialization of a generation of school kids

      Seeing this headline brought me back to that time we would be waiting for the daily figures to be announced with bated breath every evening.
