for some reason in cyprus in 95% of places they don’t fine people for parking like cavemen. so their genius idea is to install millions of bollards instead. makes it a nightmare for pedestriants, parents with pushchairs etc. the photo you posted isnt so bad cos the pavement is wide. but many parts, especially in old towns of nicosia, larnaca etc, the pavement is SO narrow to begin with, and then they put a ton of bollards (along with sign posts) so then the pavement becomes even more narrow and like an obstacle course. yes i feel passionnately about the ridiculous amount of bollards on our pavements
