I love that film and I love her in that film. It’s a real one woman show.
Very obvious that she’d done it on stage before and was just going to swamp incredible actors like Tom Conti and Bernard Hill, make them disappear, because it was her show.
She was in so much more than Shirley Valentine, but loved her in everything. John must be heartbroken.
