      > Kyle Bevan, 33, died at HMP Wakefield on Wednesday morning. He was jailed for life for murdering his partner’s two-year-old daughter Lola James in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, in 2020.

      > Mark Fellows, 45, Lee Newell, 56, and David Taylor, 63, have been charged with Bevan’s murder, West Yorkshire Police said.

      > They have been remanded into custody and are due to appear at Leeds Magistrates’ Court this morning.

      > The incident comes less than a month after paedophile Lostprophets singer lan Watkins was stabbed to death at the same prison.

      > Inmates Rashid Gedel, 25, and Samuel Dodsworth, 43, have been charged with murdering him. Two more men from the prison have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.

Is the headline badly worded, or is it just me?

Sounded like the 3 that killed the child killer were found dead in their cells

I know that no one’s losing any sleep over this guy being offed, but this is really not painting a good picture for the prison system. Hundreds a year being let out by mistake and two high profile prisoners killed at the same jail in the space of a few weeks. Sounds like everything from staffing to process is completely fucked.

Prison staff are losing control of prisons. It’s just a matter of time before a major prison riot happens.

So now three idiotic fuckwits will be given life sentences (that’s if they are not already lifers) Why don’t we just leave child killers to rot, what else can we do with them, we can’t hang them, we don’t have capital punishment, so three more dum arses to block up an already full prison system all at taxpayers expense.

      context:

      * Mark Fellows is one of the highest profile prisoners in Britain, serving a whole-life term for a double murder of rival criminals. His trial was protected by armed police guards.

      * Lee Newell killed his neighbour when he was 19, tricking his way into her home and strangling her. He later killed **another** child-killer in prison, and thus has a whole-life term.

      * David Taylor is a generic kinda name. There are lots of David Taylor criminals. A possible match is a David Taylor (then 62) sentenced in January for molesting girls he was coaching cricket. I suspect it’s not him.

Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

      Anyway, moving on………

As much as I’m sure people will celebrate this, it’s really, really not a good thing that prisons are lawless, regardless of what you think of the person killed. Today it’s a child killer, tomorrow it’s a burglar, a fraudster, or even more disturbingly, a prison officer.

I can bet it will be to do with drugs that child murderer who was killed had a drug problem when he was outside of prison so no doubt it hasn’t changed inside, same as what they are saying about Ian Watkins a drug debt probably

I urge all of you to watch a documentary called Alabama it’s a 2 documentary on their prison system.

Our prisoners are literally living like VIPs compared to their system.
