It seemed she was coming to her senses and accepting her past trauma and that she wasn’t Madeleine and bothering the family had been wrong,but clearly she slipped back and continued to harass the family? Probably encouraged by an online following and resulting echo chamber…
What are the sentencing guidelines for this? Will this be a community order? Will she be deported? Or will they give her a jail sentence (likely suspended) due to public interest?
All of this could’ve been settled in a 20 minute segment of the Jeremy Kyle show instead of draining the public purse.

If she was born 3 years after Madeleine who was born in 2003, how can she be 24?
The bar to get a stalking conviction in this country is astonishingly high. It seems like a crime that the police are often reluctant to get involved with as well. I really feel sorry for victims of stalking.
It’s right to hold her accountable. Like most people who stalk/harass people, she certainly seems to have issues but is also lucid enough to know right from wrong.
What I don’t understand here is why the tabloids that made the McCanns’ lives hell have faced zero accountability. The likes of the Daily Mail demonised the McCanns for many years and have managed to get away with it.
