The telegraph coverage is akin to last night being a pogrom or a death camp.
Hang on, didnt we ban their fans from the game because they were the trouble makers? Who was causing the problems then?

My friend at work is a Villa fan who went to the game last night. He was apprehensive about going but said absolutely nothing kicked off. Small group of Palestine protestors and a few pro-israelis that were mostly quietly ushered away from them. Police just ushered them away from each other. Apparently there were a few London accents shouting abuse at the Pro-Palestine protesters. Home allocation was filled up.
Wild how the vast majority of comments on these kinds of articles get deleted – so must be coming from rare users. What’s going on, I wonder?
11 arrests and at least 4 of them for things like drug offences, setting off fireworks etc.
Obviously we should condemn anyone who expresses racists rhetoric including those arrested for it but it didn’t really become what some of the media and those with a particular viewpoint wanted did it?
