Founder and Editor-in-Chief of *Frontliner*, Andrii Dubchak is a renowned photographer, videographer, photojournalist, and war correspondent. His reporting, his photos – captured many and became an important part of the modern chronicles of Ukraine
Andrii became the first live streamer of the Euromaidan protests, capturing many of the Revolution of Dignity’s pivotal moments, including the tragic days of February 18-20, 2014.
He filmed the video “A Million’s March” on 1 December 2013. Equipped with a GoPro camera, Dubchak climbed to the top of so-called Yanukovych’s ‘yolka’ (Christmas tree), and filmed the Euromaidan protest march:
For many people around the world, this was the first glimpse of the scale of Ukrainian protests against the government’s pro-Kremlin actions, that the Ukrainian nation deeply disagreed with. It marked the beginning of Ukraine’s defense against the hybrid war waged by Russia, which soon escalated into direct armed confrontation in the Donbas.
Since 2015, he has been documenting the Russo-Ukrainian war, with his reports published and broadcast by major media outlets around the world.
Andrii is a co-producer of [*Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winter_on_Fire:_Ukraine%27s_Fight_for_Freedom), a film nominated for 2016 Oscar’s Best Documentary Feature. He is also the co-producer of Ukraine Under Attack: 72 Hours in the Presidential Office
