Abbiamo creato queste bambole ucraine in collaborazione ufficiale con il servizio di patrocinio “Angels” per raccogliere fondi per i veterani ucraini!

These characters are from our indie art project, [project Mariverse](https://mariverse-project.fandom.com/wiki/Marichka_Wiki), that started as an attempt to raise interest for Ukraine’s fight abroad through anime art.

A year ago, a person from Hong Kong saw our work online and reached out to us, offering to produce Fumo dolls of our Ukrainian characters.

We have completed wave one and produced over 600+ dolls through Kickstarter. Our HK friend was happy to donate over a half of the profits, 2000$, to Ukraine, so we decided to donate to the [‘Angels’](https://www.azovangels.com/en/) who take care of the wounded and families of the fallen. Another Mariverse project also raised 1000$ for them.

‘Angels’ were caught off guard by our whole anime thing, but they loved it. So much so we officially created a [‘Mariverse’ character](https://mariverse-project.fandom.com/wiki/Zoriana) for them and now collaborate on the second wave of the dolls, and even more future merchandise for them!

As an artist from Ukraine who was trying to create art about Ukraine’s fight even before the 2022 invasion, I could not be happier right now. The fact that our dolls spread so far and wide, and that we are able to officially fundraise money for veterans through them is a dream come true. We’re just a few artists who has been drawing our thing against all odds since 2022. It is extremely rewarding to see this grow.
