Well, the good news is the new government has finally unveiled its first budget and there’s many, many, many billions being diverted towards defence spending. I can only hope a decent chunk of it goes towards supporting Ukraine!

Serves him well I suppose, but it’s easy to call for this and that when you’re a *former* chief of staff, general secretary, minister of defense etc. etc. and there’s no responsibility in your hands anymore.
I wonder how many *current* executives and key personnel have the moral integrity to keep advocating for stronger support of Ukraine, even if behind closed doors.

This looks like another PR stunt on the ukrainian grief.
If you don’t agree, at least tell me what the consequences will be after such loud, empty statements.

As a Canadian I would say that we have our own little Putin puppet below us threatening to assimilate us as some quasi state. We also have fuckhead Putin on our west coast and northern most border. Problem is we went the path of peace in the past and the world has now gone absolutely insane, leaving us to need to build up our defence so we are not a pushover with these two idiots near us. We will need to collaborate with Ukraine for their unforeseen expertise in defence and help where we can, while helping ourselves as well. Long live Ukraine.
