Tigran Grigoryan talks about how Pashinyan had basically tried to pretend Aliyev’s “Western Azerbaijan” talk isn’t happening because it contradicts the idea that peace has already been established. And he eventually tried to justify Aliyev’s threats by saying it was a natural response to putting up Artsakh flags in the Armenian Parliament.
He also mentions that Pashinyan has been trying to discourage talk about the right of return for Artsakh’s people in the hopes that Azerbaijan would cease the “Western Azerbaijan” agenda, but (unsurprisingly in my opinion) that has not succeeded.
