Some supporters of the BBC’s editing of Trump’s speech claim it is still justified as it simply supports his rhetoric – surely if that rhetoric existed they wouldn’t need to edit speeches to produce it and could provide other evidence.
It’s so weird how some people seem to genuinely hate the BBC, I really hope they don’t try to appease that group as they won’t ever be happy, they’re best described as terminally online. It’ll be a fools errand.
