In uno dei bar di Vilnius ho notato questa mini TV. Dopo aver cercato su Google il nome, ho scoperto che tali televisori sono stati realizzati a Kaunas.
Questi mini televisori erano una cosa importante in Lituania?

Yes, they were among more affordable TV options when I was growing up in the 90s and early 00s. Portable, as long as you have an electric outlet and with a built in antenna, you could catch all analog channels that were in range. Now I don’t know if there was a colour version as I only had a mono decoder version at home, that sat on the kitchen counter most of the time. Used to connect bootleg NES consoles and play on them as the console “would damage the family TV”, well, at least that’s what my parents believed in. Reliable, small device but to be honest, I don’t feel nostalgic enough to ever come back to that small screen anytime soon, I’d rather stick to modern solutions, thanks 😄
Those were B&W, quite terrible, but some of the best options available. Cost about 300litas (divide it by 4 to get a rough estimation in USD) in aprox 1995
From what I heard, they were popular. Not this exact model, but my family had one and it was placed in our kitchen on the fridge around 2000s.
I had it as a replacement TV around 2006 when we moved into the new place, I remember vividly watching some chat shows on summer evenings in my room, good times
