      The fact the government have to give the OK to the presidents foreign trips might probably save Connolly from herself at some point during her presidency

      I don’t think people appreciate how bad the Syria trip was. The sight of Assad’s professional western-handlers leading Irish politicians around by the nose was fucking excruciating.
