Its wild how we were all laughing off what we thought was one off, to be met by two more not long after, and then to find out its actually been in the hundreds for a while.
I can only hope is just a part of hazing for new comers: “oh yeah Jake, we should totally release that murderer early 😉”

That’s actually a significant decrease on last year, when 262 prisoners were accidentally released over a 12-month period.

Aren’t there tons of checks and stuff they have to do before releasing prisoners? How is this happening so often?

If there is a consistent number of prisoners being freed yearly then it is not an error its part of the design.
