I cannot fathom the logic behind a suspended sentence in this case. Appalling.
Of course it’s Nolan again. Jfc. That poor woman. I can’t even imagine how she feels knowing the aggravating factors in her miscarriage is scot free
It’s because of sentences like this the country is lawless there is absolutely zero deterrent to crime in Ireland.
Even if you get arrested and even end up in court the likelihood you walk free is massive.
We need to bring in mandatory minimum sentences for violent crimes.

that said i am shocked at how there still is not riots in anger at how bad the ” Justice ” system is
we might genuinely be the most Docile country on the planet because pretty much every other country there would be rioting if their Justice system had to deal with even half the shit Ireland’s Justice system has done in the last decade
