I increasingly believe that corporate tax rates needs to be linked to employment rates. Thus, corporate tax starts at 50% and for every 500 people it gets a reduction of 1% tax rate, capping out at 25%. Companies have no reason to keep workers employed if they just get to make higher profits by retrenching them or furloughing them.
Additionally, those who don’t have corporate employment in the country needs to pay the full 50% corporate tax rate; Apple, Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, etc. for instance.
