That’s it, every vote I’m going to take part from now on will be aimed towards wreacking havoc and destroying the eu from within, they failed one last time

Pixels with CalyxOS and Signal pre-installed are going to become more and more of a necessity.

Where did you find this? Fight chat control website doesn’t have it

Honestly, we should work towards making personalised advertising unprofitable or restricted.

The free market has chosen that and we see the effects of it. Maybe some people don’t care, maybe some people will tell me it is moronic. Is it bad to try to rise up and demand some popular policies to actually protect us instead of “protect” us.

If we have to trade in freedom for security, we are bound to lose both…

What do they mean “verify age before accessing a service”? Do they want every website to demand and hold your info? At that point they might as well require a physical lock on devices that require registration by the individual on purchase and yearly checks that you still own it. Or a national gov owned software you log into that allows an internet session that resets each day. There. EU parliament hire me, I have tons of horrible intruding ideas.

And in the next election these same politicians will be crying about people not trusting democracy and not believing in the European union while shouting about fake news and Russian and China.

They themselves are the biggest treath to democracy. The EU will slowly become a surveillance state and most people do not care because ” I HaVe NoTiNg tO hIdE”

Just as the anti-EU extreme parties are gaining more and more traction in every european nation, they give them a perfect talking point.

Jesus, I’m pro-EU all the way and this crap is deeply unsettling.

EDIT: Hang on, still can’t find a link or Instapost or anything, so it might be fake. Please be fake.

EDIT 2: [It’s not fake.](https://bsky.app/profile/fightchatcontrol.bsky.social/post/3m5hqxxynhk2v) A big step forward for mass control AND a big boost for anti-EU sentiment. What is with every big institutes dropping the ball and cave to quasi-nazi bastards?

Fuck you Denmark, I sincerely mean that. Helvetes Danskjævler. You brought about the end of privacy in the EU and beyond with this utter shit. If there is ever a vote to join the EU, I am now voting no. For many years, I was an optimist and wanted my country to join. Because the project actually seemed to care about Europe and its citizens and being a force for good. Now that seems to be over. I am absolutely furious. Fuck this shit.

    10. Perfect way to fuel anti eu groups. Are they really so out of touch with reality?

Ok so… What does this mean, and what happens next? Like, what point are we at, that this might pass? I am admittedly American- have our own snakes to deal with over here. But the EU sets what is pretty much a global standard…

I’m just trying to figure out where in the lawmaking process this is, and what our chances are.

Feel free to explain like im five.

    12. octopus_suitcase on

It’s over. And now the EU has done it, who’s to say every other country isn’t just waiting to?

Get ipv6 and you don’t need no middleman to chat, direct end to end encrypted communications become trivial.

The only reason you need a middleman at all is because there aren’t enough ipv4 addresses to go around, many people are stuck behind nat and direct connection is not possible.

    14. Darkone539 on

The eu has decided this will happen. Like with everything, it will keep asking and once it has passed it will be difficult to repeal.

      Flood them with your objections.

    15. Psychological-Ox_24 on

What is up with the fcking Danes? You Danish should get your politicians in order. Unless you supports it of course.

    16. tramputino on

The EU has practically forced phone manufacturers to disallow unlocking the bootloader in Android phones. So you cannot escape the coming control easily.

    17. So how much did Thorn AI pay these people off or was some sucky suck required

Let’s have a copy of all their emails, chats and device content

    18. ShapesSong on

Finally maybe people will open eyes with this whole EU bullshit. Couldn’t this stay what it was meant to be in the beginning?
