I guess if and when the men come back, they should have their citizenship stripped and then the next decade or so working to earn it back through tens of thousands of hours of community service. Plus, if they are property owners, seize said property and any assets they may have. I think if you leave your country during war time, you should face some serious consequences. People died for Ukraine and there needs to be accountability for those actions.

Ukraine will not be conquered by russia. I get why they are running, but how could these men hold up their heads and look the people who stayed and fought in the eyes, if they were to return? Many probably won’t go back. And the ones who can return without a lot of guilt are just equipped with a heightened sense of survival, I guess.
