“Mohammed Fathi Eltbie, 24, appeared before Poole magistrates and was remanded in custody to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on 18 December.
The defendant was an Egyptian national who arrived in the UK in July 2023, magistrates were told.
Robert Salame, prosecuting, told the court: “The defendant is of uncertain immigration status with the defendant’s asylum application refused in January this year.
Dorset Police said the alleged attack, off Maxwell Road, Bournemouth, was reported on 5 November.”
We had 11 months to deport him back to Egypt, ‘a safe country of origin’ before he raped someone. Unbelievable.

Is there any reliable statistics into how many violent/sexual offences are committed by ‘asylum seekers’ in the country?
I tried to find this data, unsuccessfully.

He is from Egypt. How on earth can someone from a safe country even have an asylum claim considered?
Even then he was told no in January so why was he still in the country almost a year later to be able to do this?
