Mentre facevo acquisti da Migros, ho notato l’entrecôte statunitense con alcune indicazioni sull’etichetta che aprono gli occhi. Sulla confezione si legge che la carne “potrebbe essere stata prodotta con stimolatori ormonali” e “potrebbe essere stata prodotta con stimolatori non ormonali, come gli antibiotici”. Sono stato sorpreso di vedere questo in Svizzera, dove siamo orgogliosi del benessere degli animali e degli standard di qualità alimentare e dove tali prodotti sono vietati nella produzione nazionale. L’etichetta è trasparente, ma che cavolo! Qualcun altro controlla queste etichette?

      And I get told I should not buy meet over the border from a local butcher at a third of the price to support the Swiss business…

    11. Oh my good, I found out that we import beef that was injected with performance enhancers and antiobiotics. How dare they????
