    2. At the current exchange rate of US dollars, that’s about $58 worth of food. Seems like a lot!

      I make my American friends/family extremely jealous (and hopefully show them how bad the US is right now) by showing them how affordable my stuff is in Germany lol, like “yes Karen, vegetables should cost less than frozen hot pockets, it’s a thing”

      In Portugal 50€ would cover half of that basket…and unfortunately our minimum wage 400€ less
