      This is disgusting.

      More like a 3 point bullying initiative :

      – Ukraine is deeply weakened in exchange for weak guarantees and vague reconstruction promises;

      – Russia is back in business as if nothing ever happened since 2014;

      – USA gets to profit from all the bloodshed.

      I hope the Ukrainians tell both the US and RU to shove that deal in the same drawer they placed the Budapest memorandum. Both should be used as toilet paper, especially the signed ones.

      It’s insane. Restrict Ukraine’s army – *but not Russia* – give them *additional* territory they don’t even hold now – and give the Ruzzi war criminals a pass for all their crimes.

      Someone pointed out earlier that item 3 is oddly worded in English – but is a literal translation of idiomatic *Russian* phrasing. Typical corrupt backstabbing: Krasnov trying to carve up Ukraine and get a cut of the money for himself, without his owner in the Kremlin losing anything at all.

      Oh, and the idiotic idea of the US “mediating” between NATO and Russia, despite being a founder member of the former… Did anyone expect this crap to be taken seriously? Are they new to this planet?

      There needs to be a 29th point whereby Russia has to give Ukraine all 700 billion dollars from their foreign exchange reserves (upfront). To make it even remotely acceptable.

      This is confusing to me. This treaty if full of demands to random organizations: EU will do that, NATO will do this, the World Bank will fund the whole thing, the UN will reinstate Russia into the G8.. As far as I understand, the treaty will be between Russia, Ukraine and the USA, how can you make demands to third-parties?

      Calling it a peace deal is russian propaganda

      This deal is calling for Ukraine’s surrender

      Stopped after the second point. Seriously, just reads like trolling. Sovereignty will be confirmed? What do they mean? Ukraine is already a sovereign country. All ambiguities of the last 30 years will be considered settled. Geez… Just forget we destroyed your cities, your land, murdered your people and robbed your territory dry. We’re friends now.

      This is literally insane but I’m not surprised seeing what a bunch of deranged and degraded people Americans have elected.

      How the fuck are the “guaranteeing” things that no signatory has the ability to guarantee, like access to EU markets and a bunch of other crap on this? This looks like it was written in 45 minutes by a international relations sophomore as a homework assignment.

      My understanding is this deal was worked out entirely without Ukraine or the EU. So how they’ve managed to secure EU sections in this is completely nonsense to me?

      Are we doing this again? They said it wasn’t Russian forces that entered Crimea in 2014. Little green men they coined. That’s how they got around it the first time. Then in 2022 they just didn’t give a fuck and invaded. Despite Macron begging and security guarantees already being in place.

      I can’t be bothered, man. Ukraine, I am so sorry the West has utterly failed you.

      This is beyond stupid. One example: Ukraine can’t join nato but can join EU.

      EU includes defense protection pact between members so it’s NATO but without US.

      Also why should US or Russia dictate when should Ukraine have elections or not?

      It’s made for not be accepted or made by very dumb people.
