oKINGDANo on 23/05/2026 15:16 Seems to be an issue with the filo dough. My mother has never been able to get it right throughout the years of trying.
AfterSwordfish6342 on 23/05/2026 15:16 The dough doesnt veen have close to enough fat it looks extremely dry
Familiar-Piano-7045 on 23/05/2026 15:34 A bit too dry and lacks some fat between the layers. It might as well been how you assembled it. A way to introduce more liquid/moisture is by separating the filling between a couple of layers.

Accurate-Pilot-5666 on 23/05/2026 18:00 Okay, I got so much good advice that I’m trying again tomorrow. Thank you, everyone.
Humble_Power_9377 on 23/05/2026 18:19 Nice byrek me mish edhe qepe 😋enjoy! I like that you neatly folded the corners with the fork pattern 🙂 (So I do 10 layers about, 5 for the bottom, 5 top Roll one layer about size of a salad plate On the side I keep a bowl with olive oil and a spoon And throw about a tablespoon on each layer… Then put layers one over other and roll out into one layer a bit larger than the size of my baking pan [https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2Uwpla9V0kU&pp=ygUFQnlyZWs%3D&ra=m](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2Uwpla9V0kU&pp=ygUFQnlyZWs%3D&ra=m) This video shows the technique in a simple way, but most people use a thinner rolling pin, making it easier to roll out dough wider and thinner https://preview.redd.it/bx3ugqy4ix2h1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=132fb40babfcfd1504dd7959af52629c1cf7bc5c
