FWIW I’m not a huge fan of Ed as Foreign Secretary and there was probably a time where someone having been very publicly critical of a US president should maybe have been a consideration when deciding if they were a good fit. Those times are over.
Foreign secretary had Starmer’s name all over it surely? For all the hate he got (undeservedly IMHO) he pulled off some cracking deals with Europe, Japan, India, Switzerland and managed to keep Trump from going stupid with his tariffs which was impressive considering the big orange baby was throwing his dummy around.
He clearly didn’t like the way Ed eats bacon sandwiches.
If trump doesn’t like something it’s a sign of a good decision imo 🤷

I mean it’s not *good* exactly, but I am glad that we have a foreign secretary who upsets Trump because they specifically call him out on all his bullshit.
Well for what it’s worth, everything they have said about Trump is correct. I can’t see that the USA are interested in being serious and fair anyway. Starmer always did his best to appease Trump and it works all the way up until you first say no, then he just throws his toys out the pram anyway. Our friends and allies are demonstrably in Europe, not America currently.
Trump should focus on fixing that shit with Iran and then the mid terms he’s about to lose.
So? The world doesn’t revolve around the pedo-in-chief. He doesn’t get to insert himself into the decision making of another leaders cabinet choices.
I am curious how he answers these questions when inevitably the media will wait till damage can be maximized before they read all his statements to trump and ask him how he feels about the new foreign secretary because from what I can see I don’t think trump has engaged with him before
