Any slovakian want to provide some context to the second paragraph? I can imagine that people in Prague would not take kindly to the statement that the Red Army liberated Czechoslovakia, but maybe it was different in Slovakia.

nO AutHority tO cRiTiciZe tHe SoVerEiGn… Yes, she has the right. You are the PM of a democracy, in union with other democracies. Everyone has every right to criticize every single politician for anything they want.

And the iron curtain was set up by Russia, by invading another country.

    3. python168 on

He doesn’t even hide anymore the bootlicking for Russia.

The problem is delicate, we don’t have methods to kick them out, but we cant interfere with a member democracy either.

People like this questionable politician, Orban and all the far right will destroy the EU and jeopardise all our nation into puppets if we don’t solve the problem

    4. OneTrueTrichiliocosm on

      Red Army liberated Slovakia

      Respectfully and signed,
      Robert Fico

      Amazing, simply amazing

    5. What has Putin’s Russia to do with those men that died liberating Europe? He could honor the memory of the fallen Russians at home, in Slovakia. He’s just pandering to Putin’s regime, that’s all. Go to hell (a.k.a. Russia) and stay there, Fico!

    6. He was literally a member of the communist party before the late 80s

    7. Oxen_aka_nexO on

I hate everyone who voted for this communist piece of trash. May he and his voters never find peace. Traitors to our country.

    8. giovaelpe on

A “critic” is the expression of an opinion, you dont need authority to critic someone, I am nobody, literally speaking, and I criticize Fico as well

    9. You can hear the sound of Putin arm squeezing up all Fico’s ass while writing this.

Sad to see two of the poorest countries in Europe having their politicians bought by the very same people that made them so poor

    10. Scroll120 on

      No authority to criticize?

Isn’t their clan all about free speech, and how free speech must be protected?

    11. Deadluss on

Maybe pay tribute to Ukrainians, Belarusians, Kazakhs in Red Army hmmmm? Oh wait then you wouldn’t be able to kiss Putin’s ass

    12. LazyZeus on

I wonder why Fico didn’t come to Ukraine to pay tribute to more than 60,000 red army soldiers, who were fighting to liberate Slovakia in WW2.
Or does mr. Fico think these soldiers came from the forests of Siberia?

    13. Primary_Employ_1798 on

Low quality individual, completely immune to the fact that he was visiting and courting a guy who alone is responsible for sending to death half million of his own people and gave orders to attack his neighbour and commit war crimes and atrocities completely uncalled for. Low scum

    14. While the Red Army did liberate Eastern Europe from Nazi Germany, the prople weren’t free after the war. They would only deserve a visit if they hadn’t overstayed their welcome.

    15. HelpfulYoghurt on

Cool, was he also in Ukraine on May 8?

Because, you know, 20 000 – 25 000 of those soldiers who have died liberating Slovakia were Ukranian. As he said, it have nothing to do with international situation, just paying respect to fallen soldiers…right?

    16. Vert_Angry_Dolphin on

I read it as Roberto Fico (italian Politician that used to be president of parliament) and I shat myself

    17. Well, it may be cool to see what this guy thinks if Russia was invading Slovakia. Maybe one day we’ll find out…

    18. Liberation of Slovakia? Should we remind him they signed a treaty with hitler and participated in fighting in Ukraine and Caucasus on german side?

    19. EvilPig00 on

“Liberating Slovakia”, maybe you mean replacing one fasict regime for another just like it?

    20. Antar3s86 on

This letter sounds like it has been written by a 15 year old in school. 🫣

    21. Vegetable-River-253 on

Time to clean up the EU. Hungary and Slovakia can go. Perhaps Romania. Never mind the fascists.

    22. SMarseilles on

Being 60, you would think he would remember what it was like to live under authoritarianism and the ‘sphere of influence’ of the USSR. Especially when they invaded your country and removed liberal reforms.

    23. As a Slovak. F*ck Fico 🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻

    24. Stooovie on

He literally has dick and balls at the end of his signature

    25. PlasmaMatus on

Liberators or occupiers ? Fico doesn’t know shit about history.

    26. SpeakerConfident4363 on

In short, “let me suck Putins cock in peace”

    27. jokikinen on

I could not care less. Get this garbage away from my eyes.

    28. Can I wipe my butt with this paper? Coz that’s the only way I’d give it weight. Corrupt gov official who can’t stop sitting on Putin’s bloody money thinks he has the right to criticise someone in general. If he so likes Russia and their traditions and holidays and mourns their soldiers – he’s free to go live there. What’s the issue? Resign as PM, go to Russia, I guarantee he’d get some high rank position for bootlicking over those years in Putin’s circle and live happily ever after without ruining another European country. I just don’t get it.
