      Before translating, you first have to read it (which is easier said than done because this style of handwriting hasn’t been taught in German schools for at least half a century). Here is my attempt:

      >Liebes Frauchen und
      ?Ernichen?

      >Bin gut hier angekommen, der
      Empfang war großartig. habe
      unterwegs schon verschieden
      Kameraden getroffen. bin im Hotel
      Zum Riesen einquartiert.
      Vergesst nicht die ?F?enster in
      ?Joos? ???stube? zu zumachen.
