This country is a prison so have they really been freed? Something to think about.

Its wild how we were all laughing off what we thought was one off, to be met by two more not long after, and then to find out its actually been in the hundreds for a while.

I can only hope is just a part of hazing for new comers: “oh yeah Jake, we should totally release that murderer early 😉”

It’s a lot but it’s tracking to be a lot lower than it’s peak that it’s falling from.

Funny how the media are reporting this now even thou its been a issue for decades

    6. That’s actually a significant decrease on last year, when 262 prisoners were accidentally released over a 12-month period.

    7. How can they be freed in error?
I’d really like to know, as this isn’t a system error as more would be set free.

Aren’t there tons of checks and stuff they have to do before releasing prisoners? How is this happening so often?

If there is a consistent number of prisoners being freed yearly then it is not an error its part of the design.

It’s newsworthy now so it’ll be reported even though it’s happened for years lol
