Sono andato al pronto soccorso con un ginocchio infortunato. Mi hanno dato dei semplici questi per fissare la gamba che usavo da molto tempo, e delle stampelle. Poi ho pagato perché è arrivata una lettera dall’ospedale. Successivamente ho subito un intervento chirurgico. E il medico mi ha prescritto un nuovo questi per cambiare gradualmente l’angolazione della gamba. Mi ha dato una ricevuta rossa e ho pensato che significasse che il costo sarebbe stato coperto. La signora del negozio mi ha chiesto di pagare un contributo di cinque euro, poi ha inviato il foglio rosso che mi era stato consegnato alla compagnia assicurativa. Non avevo capito il motivo. Poi ho ricevuto questa lettera. Dovrò pagare la cosa? Online i costi sono assolutamente enormi e attualmente sto singhiozzando per questo.

You need to talk with your doctor to sort this out.
The health insurance assumes it is the same thing as before and they won’t pay for it again. Communication is key here. I wouldn’t break down over an automatic letter.
I would do a “Widerspruch” and explain that this one is different from the first one
Also ask the doctor who prescribed you these about it, or your GP if not possible
